Cursor size settings, being screwed up by connecting Camera

Having problems with my Cursor size settings, being screwed up by my new Camera have recently bought a new DigiCam.The problem is that when I connect the Camera to my PC, either with the Camera image viewing software installed or not, my cursor shrinks to the smallest available ?Every time I connect the Camera the problem repeats, and I have to reset the curser size all over again.This is not covered in the Camera guide.Any ideas ?

In addition, I am unable to re-set the cursor size while the Camera is still connected.
Windows will not respond until I disconnect the camera again.
