Looks like your disk has gone through many format operations resulting in the many iterations of that single partition.. But that is no reason to lose the data that you have put in after the last format. Also your drive does not have any bad sectors. I won't give up so easily.

Getdataback has four levels of scanning - each going deeper than the other.

Apart from scanning, it does not write anything.

You can click on the Level Tab and choose level 2 and then Level 3 and Level 4. Each deeper level scanning will take more time. You can try this later.

For now go with TestDisk and let us see what it says about the status of boot sectors.

When you reach the boot screen, click on [Boot] and show me the status of the boot sectors. Then close TestDisk

How to repair a damaged partition on a data drive?

So In TestDisk I select the No Log, select the disk, select [EFI GPT], select Advanced, select the MS Data partition and the only options I get are [Type] [Image Creation] as I've mentioned there is no boot option?

    Hello @jumanji sir.
I have a corrupted HDD and it is in the same condition as @NormAtHome. Shows up as RAW in Disk Management Utility. Has 2 partitions which hold the data I want to recover. Went over many videos, forums, even on TestDisk own forum, was still confused what and how exactly to move forward. Came across this forum, went through and bumped into this thread. I Ran the TestDisk Utility again as you have said here.

My question is should I move ahead and do the steps as you have suggested in your 19 Jan 2021 post?
I was afraid of moving further that's why asking you here in this thread.

    Please help me sir.
    Thank you !!

    Hi @Aryan Singh,

    Welcome to TenForums.

    1. Do not assume that your problem is the same as that of NormAtHome. In most cases it may not be and could be different. For that reason I always start afresh from scratch.

    2. Please start a new thread may be with the title "Data recovery from a Raw drive/partition".

    3. In that thread please furnish full details of your PC.

    a) Is your Desktop an OEM m/c or self assembled? You may fill up the specifications in "My Computer" System Specs - Fill in at Ten Forums

    b) Apart from your system drive, how many internal drives are there? Is the faulty drive an internal drive or external drive?

    c) Post a screenshot of Windows Disk Management showing all your drives. How to Post a Screenshot of Disk Management

    d) Tell us the previous history of the drive. In particular were you able to access the data before and it suddenly turned Raw?

I may ask more questions after seeing the Windows Disk Management. Be aware that it is going to take a lot of time but fortunately you are in the same time zone.
