    BSOD recovery

(Sorry for the delay - traveling...)
I was gone for ~2 weeks, and came back to a BSOD saying "your system has crashed unexpectedly", and restarted.

It then crashed with kernel-fault and another video-timing fault in the next hour,, but since then has been up for 5 days.

Since I last ran DISM and it said recoverable errors, I wanted to try that.
    Details below.

So it finds errors, and says they are repairable.

Running DISM RestoreHealth gives an error – No Source found.

MSoft instructions are to then download an .iso image, and use that as the source.
(How to use DISM command tool to repair Windows 10 image | Windows Central)

I did that, mounted the iso, copied the contents to a folder, and pointed to that folder and re-ran DISM

    It still failed.

    DISM log attached.

So the open question is how to do this repair?

The path is too long. Do you use an install.wim or install.esd?

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:X:\Sources\install.wim:1
    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:X:\Sources\install.esd:1

    bsod debugging

ZBook: Not sure what you mean -
to re-run the log file collector?
    https://www.tenforums.com/attachment...p_plus_log.bat
    and post the results?

    Pentagon:
As noted, I mounted the .iso and then extracted the contents, and that is what I pointed to.
I could re-mount it and try that if needed, but the two seemed equivalent.
I pointed to the .../sources/install.wim in the iso copy.

Are you saying I have to put the copy into a shallower folder name?
I'll remount the iso and try it that way.

I do notice that I did not include the :6 (my W11 Pro) to indicate the version, but the online reference did not show that.

    Thanks.

"Running DISM RestoreHealth gives an error – No Source found."

What does that message tell you? No idea?

    BSOD repairs

Pentagon: I don't know why it gives that error, and it does not give any more details, but the solution seems to be to download a matching iso to the installed OS, and then point to it using the /Sources: option, which is what I am then now doing.

    Code:
    dism /online /cleanup-image /RestoreHealth /Source:J:\sources\install.wim:6
ZBook: Ok, will do. (Although I don't expect any significant changes from the earlier posting, as nothing has gotten repaired yet.)

    @Pentagon:
I re-ran the DISM Restore, with the original mounted iso, still fails in the same way, not sure why or what to do.

Did you see the install.wim in the source-folder?
Is the ISO from a Media Creation Tool?

But your source file is here:
    J:\CCCOMA_X64FRE_EN-US_DV9\sources\install.wim
    and not
    Source:J:\sources\install.wim
