BSOD When my pc is idle i gave up on it any help :)

Ok first of all Hello everyone it's my first time here i hope I am not missing anything

The BSOD usually occurs when my pc is either idle or just browsing anything win/internet

I can play a game for 6+hrs no issues just leave it for 20min or start A YT Video nope

it's either Video_TDR_Faliure or Complete Freez with no response

my pc specs

Win.10 Pro 20H2 / 19042.1586
GTX 1060 6G
8G Viper 3200m X.M.P Enabled
A320M-S2H
250G SSD
1T HDD/ 500G HDD

I tried Punch of YT Fixes / changing win10 version 3 times each with a different version
I put the V2 Log collector

All your dumps are TDR failures. You need to troubleshoot the driver and the hardware.

Use DDU to completely uninstall your current nvidia driver. Reboot the pc. After reboot, install the current one here.

If that seems like no change, Follow this tutorial to stress test your video card.

I did DDU it like 4 times already but ill do it anyway I did try the stress test no issues no artifacts nothing as I said I can play a game with 95~100% GPU usage for hours no issues it's when idle for some reason

ill let you know if the issue still persists after the I DDU it and tried the stress test

How many pcie slots does your motherboard have? Try in another slot if so? Check your motherboard (dust, films if anyone smokes, bad capacitors will look bulged on top instead of flat)

I completely disassembled my PC looking for any such things I checked it inch by inch but nothing.
everything looks good and clean as new

i'am losing hope in this PC

the conclusion I came up with is "not sure yet" it's either the PCIe or the GPU I tried Replacing the GPU with another but nothing changed iam quite sure it's the PCIe issue "maybe" ill update this thread if i confermed any of this

Hmm no way my 500w PSU can't handle this

Have the pcie power wire plugged into that card? Tried another plug from the power supply if it has it?

Hmm no didn't try that yet ill give it a try yes the PSU have 2 6bin connector ill try the other on

after further testing,
I can clearly see the GPU have to be doing something to prevent the crash
I tried running A CPU and RAM intense tasks and the BSOD still appear ONLY when the GPU is idle I see the BSOD
now the pc is running for like 15hr now with no BSOD at all Just a lite game running in the background
with 45% GPU usage and 35% CPU usage
and that's not ideal at all I can't run any CPU / Ram intense prosses with a game running in the background
and trying to replace the GPU didn't seem to help the same BSOD in the same expected timing

It sounds to me like something related to power management - and I did experience such nonsense myself long time ago as well, although never confirmed with 100% certainty what the culprit was.

Did you try checking and disabling 'PCI-E Link Power State Management" Options in the Power Profiles?

Nope still the same ill update the system soon anyway ill do it piece by piece and ill update here once it fixed and full details about what was the issue

I agree that this is graphics related and have a suggestion. Your symptoms only appear when the GPU is idle and so I wonder if it is related to the fact that your AMD CPU is also a graphics processor with Vega graphics. When idle this graphics processor might be taking on some of the graphics processing. Normally this is managed by the BIOS and motherboard but I wonder if something has not been working correctly.

In the analysis of the crash dumps I spotted that the error code was given in Arg 3:

Code:

VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE (116)Attempt to reset the display driver and recover from timeout failed.
Arguments:
Arg1: ffff858b5dcc9010, Optional pointer to internal TDR recovery context (TDR_RECOVERY_CONTEXT).
Arg2: fffff802285ccfe8, The pointer into responsible device driver module (e.g. owner tag).
Arg3: ffffffffc000009a, Optional error code (NTSTATUS) of the last failed operation.
Arg4: 0000000000000004, Optional internal context dependent data.

The error is interpreted as follows:

This suggests to me that something may be wrong with the motherboard software.

I then noticed that AMD have just updated their software for this Ryzen processor
