What's the current state of current Fall Creators Update stability?

I initially installed the Fall Creators Update when first offered, and I don't have to tell you about the disaster that followed.

But I have learned from my experiences, ie. anniversary update nightmare, & used a macrium image to dial back, after which I deferred the feature updates for 360 days.

So I'm checking to see if enough progress has been made or suggestions to make it work, like drivers updates, etc. which have been mentioned elsewhere?

The Intel(r) HD Graphics 530 i5 6500 driver automatically installed by Windows update is not the latest version, but you know, I believe if it ain't broke, don't fix it when it comes to driver updates.

Which driver version do you have installed?

Did you install the creators update when it came out, or did you wait a while?
