KB4032188 failed to install multiple times [SOLVED]

    Hi,

I'm on Windows 10 Pro, currently version 15063.608. I've never had any update issues.

I'm using automatic updates, and the 16. September Windows failed to install KB4032188 multiple times.

Windows tried to update (automatically) several times: 16. September, 22. September, and 02. October.

It always fails to install, with several "failed to install" messages each time it tries.

    NO notifications of anything wrong:
I have to actually open Windows Update and select "Update history" to see the error-messages.

    Any advice would be great!

Hi, If you're on 608, I'm wondering why you are seeing that update- which was to 502?

Yes, I do have 15063.608, so it's weird.

However, I solved it simply by running Update-Troubleshooter, which deleted all old updates - and when I manually asked for updates it started downloading KB4040724. And it worked, no more errors.

Note: I did try this before - several times, no idea why it worked this time. Thank you for the reply.
