what i mean is keep clicking the button even if it says its doing something, like as quick as a double click but instead of clicking twice click as many times as you can before it finishes whatever it is doing.
i joined this forum to share this method and if you want activation now you will do it, it wont take 50 attempts it will take 1.
like i say click activate and don't stop clicking till its done.
    try it then thank me.........................

As incredible as it sounds it really worked!! Thanks

I upgraded from Windows 7 Ultimate to Windows 10 Pro with no problem through Microsoft's reserve program. I decided I wanted to do a clean install and went through the steps outlined on Lifehacker which was basically upgrade first, download the image from Microsoft onto a USB flash disk, boot from that and go through the process like any other OS install. During the install process I was asked several times to input a product key. I tried my Windows 7 Ultimate product key but that didn’t work. I tried the product key that was showing after I upgraded to Windows 10 Pro (started 00, so pretty odd) but that didn't work either.

After the install finished, it first said I wasn't activated and the product key area was blank. It also said I was now running Windows 10 Home instead of Windows 10 Pro. I did some standard Windows Updates and installed some other drivers which led to a few restarts. I just noticed now that I am activated, I have a key BUT it's still saying I'm a Windows 10 Home user instead of on Windows 10 Pro and I have no idea why.

*EDIT* Actually it doesn't say that I'm activated. It just instructs me to connect to the internet to activate Windows (I'm online) and as mentioned before, now I have an actual product key as opposed to nothing.

I don't know why someone deleted my script. I am sure that anybody who used it can prove that it's working just fine. And plus you can see what's inside my executable file so you can check if it's not something bad. So I am providing link once again and if it's removed again than I don't know why...

They do the same, but the free Windows 10 offer will only activate if you first upgrade using the GWX app.
    Really? Now I'm scared!

    [Later]
PHEW! Just activated after install from ISO, having failed to get GWX to work.

I had the same thoughts as you, after updating using the ISO yesterday I could not get it to activate so thought I would have to roll back to 8.1 and try again with the GWX upgrade

this morning I tried to activate and it went through first time

If the script was removed, it was with good reason - if everybody uses it the server will get overloaded with requests and help nobody...
Best is to be patient. Windows tries to activate itself automatically.

Please stop posting this.. it's overloading the servers and causing more issues. The admin removed it for a good reason. Also this has been reported.

    Hi there,
I had exactly the same error.
It simply produces an error because the license servers are overloaded.
Yesterday it didn't succeed, but today it succeeded.
So, just have a few days patience :)
