    Yes Guys I tried the script out in my VM and it works thanks guys you great. I had the same issue upgraded from windows 8.1 to windows 10 and it wasnt activated your script did the Job Well done

    Seems MS Activation Servers are Being Hammered

    Script isn't working for me, closes itself after the first try with "activation was succesful.."

    Then either its activated on the first go, or its returning errorlevel 0 on fail too... might wanna remove my bit to be sure Sawy7

    I would think the core issue is the servers.. they might be overloaded now and for some time until the upgrades die down.

    I just kept trying and it activated eventually. Must be server overload.

    Not the most helpful of error messages though.

    The new apps still aren't working. I'm assuming they're trying to phone home on first run and hitting the same problem.

    out of options i clicked the activate button about 30 or so times in rapid succession and bingo it worked on first attempt!!!
    i have no idea why and it doesn't make sense but it works.
