It wasn't from the free upgrade offer using the GWX app though.

That's really weird. Mail restarted working, but the others are still not working.

Just called the Microsoft Turkey support. I don't think the operator understood my problem, but he told me to reinstall the old Windows and re-update. He also mentioned that this is a common problem with Windows 10.
As I'm not the only one who faces this problem I think I won't do the reinstall.

    Windows 10

Hi, I have Windows 7 ultimate and when i went in windows update history, it had alot of Win Pro errors so i deleted the contents in the C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download directory and windows update went ahead and downloaded then installed windows 10, and i am getting that same error 0xC004F034

Oh Never Mind, Windows JUST NOW Activated! now where do i see the code so i can perform a clean install with it?

They do the same, but the free Windows 10 offer will only activate if you first upgrade using the GWX app.

    W10

    I have the same issue.
I'm wondering if its because I bought and installed the PRO upgrade to my W8 home edition.
The W10 update is to the PRO edition but it doesn't recognize the PRO update key?

I don't think it's a problem. Your home key became a pro key after you upgraded it to pro.

Still can't update though... I copied the license key, and tried to reactivate windows by using the change key option and paste the same key... No luck.
