    Hi contremaitre.

Might I suggest an inplace repair / upgrade as a possible solution.

Repair Install Windows 10 with an In-place Upgrade

If this works it will upgrade you to the Creator Update.

I recommend backing up your data off machine and I would further recommend making an Image with a tool like Macrium Reflect. You want to be able to get back to where you started.

Backup and Restore with Macrium Reflect

    Hi contremaitre,

looking at the first CBS log, there appears to be component store corruption, and its creating an update pending loop.

You could try a DISM restore health option
Use DISM to Repair Windows 10 Image Windows 10 Performance Maintenance Tutorials

If that fails then its looking like a clean install.

Did you have Norton as your AV, then Avira, if so did you use the Norton removal tool

    Hi,
I only have avast as AV.
DISM scanhealth fails with error 0x8000ffff
Looks like the pending loop prevent DISM from repairing, but I am not sure, could you have a look to this log Attachment 153990 ?
I would like to avoid reinstalling windows completly

You did scanhealth and you know there is corruption. I believe you have to move on to step 5 and likely step 7.

Do you have an ISO or ESD with the same version as you are trying to repair?

    Hi

Only said Avira as thats whats on your specs.

That Cbs also shows major errors in the Winsxs folder, used for updating
    from it
Corruption detection complete. numCorruptions = 24793
Its then having a problem trying to create the repair operation.

With that many errors i cannot see any other way, apart from a clean install

Just to comfirm, is this an Enterprise version OS

By version I mean 1607 or 1511 or 1703. If you downloaded and created USB key with Media Creation tool, and downloaded tool recently, you have V1703 on key.

What version is yours windows, Windows key + R, type winver, enter.
