Windows Update on Windows Pro Solved

    Windows Update on Windows Pro

Is there a way to disables Windows Update via Services in W10 Pro as I could in W10 Home?

I have my W10 Home's Update service on my W10 machine disabled and would like to disable it on my Pro machine, not just postpone it. I periodically re-enable it in Home and check for updates, install them if necessary and the disable it again.

A suitable alternative would be, on Pro, to bypass the Restart and Update and restart or shutdown anyway.

    Thank you.

I am going to have to write a little script that will reply to you saying "Once again, Thanks Brink."

That is just what I needed. I had forgotten that I had read that years??? ago.
