How to fix Windows10 Update Error code 80240020

    Far too complicated for me, one of my pc's has failed 12 times and another 3 times, both from 8.1. Maybe an ISO would be easier.

    Hi All,
    I have windows 10 pro. edition 32-bit installed and working properly, when I receive this error code is when I go into settings..updates..and change the 'get insider updates'. I'm informed the computer needs to reboot, so I do so..that's when I receive the "oops something went wrong " prompt. I tried method #2 that's mentioned in this topic, but at least for me..that didn't my issue. Has this happened to anyone else..and if so, how did you correct it ?

    Excuse me this method is only for the person that has this error in windows 7 or 8.1 when try to update to windows 10 only.
