Welcome to the forum. Why don't you want to do updates which add new things and keep you secure. Ms claim an updated win10 is immune from recant ransom ware

Simply put i like the start menu that came with the original win10, ive seen the one in creators update and i dont want it, as for ransomware i dont download shady exe files and havent gotten a virus in years, please dont recomend classic shell unless it can give me the original win10 start menu.

You get the full app list which i dont wanna see, There is some option that disables that but also disable the metro tiles which i want. i think you can remove the apps one by one so the full list isnt so full but no thanks.

If i can get the start menu without the full app list and keep the tiles at the same time id be happy to upgrade right away.

Available in Creators Update: Settings > Personalization > Start - turn off 'Show Apps list in Start menu'.

The Settings to do that are available in Creators. You can set it up that way in Settings>Personalization>Start.
