    W10 b10162 cannot be activated

I have just installed W10 b10162 x64 which was downloaded from MS a while ago, but it could not be activated because of the product key used. The product key is the one provided when the file was downloaded. What could be wrong?

You'll have to purchased a RTM key, or get one with the free Windows 10 upgrade offer.

Can the unactivated W10 b10162 be upgraded to free W10 RTM?

I'm afraid the free upgrade can only be gotten from a legally activated Windows 7 or Windows 8.1.

Going back to my original question: Why the Key for W10 b10162 does not work?

The server to activate that and other build is shut down during this time for the upgrade process.

Thanks for the info. The message should say so instead of indicating "This product key does not work . . . " I wondered about the timing since I am aware W10 distribution begins tomorrow.
