    Creators Update

I don't particularly want to do a manual download but am I the only one that hasn't received the Creator's Update yet? I also read somewhere that certain applications running on a computer might stop the update from downloading.

The Creators Update is being rolled out in phases, so you may still be waiting for your turn to see the 'Features update to Windows 10, version 1703' in windows update.

It's not so much problems with installed apps (the update can ask you to uninstall those) it's more that there are some known issues with particular hardware - PCs that have such issues are blocked from receiving the Creators Update until Microsoft have developed fixes for these issues. There's more on the phased rollout here...

Windows 10 Creators Update roll out on track and expanding

Then don't. 1703 doesn't look much different from 1607 an you will continue to get security updates. A manual install bypasses the blocks on 'problem hardware', so it's safest to wait patiently until it's offered through windows update.

I have downloaded many of them manually without any problems at all. Also don't believe everything you read on The Net.

I haven't recieved the update either. I've had the privacy thing come up a few weeks ago and confirmed the settings but no update yet.

I still don't have the CU on my 3 year old Dell laptop and I don't want it until MS consider the CU is reliable for my PC - I'll believe this when I see it. This post today suggests we should all get the update soon via Windows Update. Windows 10 Creators Update fully available for all

I'm not much of a techie so I will let Windows decide rather than get involved with a manual update.

Consider yourself lucky you haven't gotten it yet :) the Fall CU will be here soon enough.

I was hoping to go right from the AU to the Fall CU, but that dream was shattered tonight
