    Interesting about Comodo.

I did originally have it installed and uninstalled it as the first thing I tried before reinstalling the KB. However IE/Chrome still failed to work.

I've been reading through Comodo forums and it seems they are working on a fix for all of their products. Hopefully they can push that out in the next few days!

    .447 build works for me

Yep, it's definitely Comodo. Mine works just fine and I don't have comodo.

I only had Comodo Firewall installed. I use Avast for AV - did also uninstall this too just incase but it appeared to be solely down to the update.

Have you guys with no issues checked your settings -- Settings/System/Notifications and Actions --> are your settings there correct? If you change them and come back do they stick?
