    Hi,

You can try this link to download and install group policy editor for the Home versions of Win 10 :

    https://www.itechtics.com/enable-gpe...ndows-10-home/

Then follow the instructions I pointed to in a post higher up this thread.

    Cheers,

I just had this on a new install of Windows 7 professional - before it was activated with a product key for the first time. The read message came up above Windows Updates while updates were installing/shortly after (about 3 of them were for Windows Defender, one of which failed the first time). By the time I had googled the issue and gone back to the laptop the message had gone again! Without me doing anything (and still before activation) - and the updates had installed.

So I didn't do anything to get rid of it! I think it's something to do with Windows Defender/Windows updates. Maybe keep running/installing them and restart then see if it goes away.
