Hi jonnytrickz. Welcome to the TenForums @Jonnytrickz

First are you running Windows Pro? With it you can defer updates under settings.

If you are a "Home" user.

You will have to install, while your device is offline and then get the latest update manually and install it to get the security updates.

Before going online I think this tutorial should help but it stops all checks meaning going forward, until they end support for 1607, you will have to go to the catalog and get the latest cumulative update. If a home user I think you have to use Option Two.

Enable or Disable Check for Windows Updates in Windows 10

If you are wireless then you can set the connection to be a "Metered Connection" and it won't bring down updates.

There is another process whereby you hide the specific update, and let it check, download and install other updates.

Hide or Show Windows Updates in Windows 10

Neither of these methods is the recommended operating posture. If I may ask why are you rejecting the Creator Update?

The latest update of Windows 10 (17017) fixes the Code: 0x80240439 problem. But there's another issue not related to the new build but since may I've had an issue where in the store app the windows requirements weren't detecting my pc specs.
