Windows 10 activation error, code 0x8007232B

So I bought my laptop through ebay and it was working fine in the last few months but ever since the "creator update" it pops up windows reminding me that I have to activate it. I tried looking for solutions online but nothing helped.I extracted the activation key from the system, tried SLUI 3, but it's still the same.

you can see it says it can't connect to the organisation's activation server. I have no idea what that means or why would it even want to do that.Please help me.

It appears that the laptop is either stolen from or released by a company IT department. Under the volume licensing system used for activation for large companies, where the system has to "check-in" every so often, normally 30 days or so, to check that it is still legitimately licensed, the system will show a not activated if the check is unsuccessful for a set number of times - 2-4 is the range often used so could fail after 60-120 days.

The update to Creators Update could well have triggered the licence check

The only thing to do if this is the case is try claiming from eBay, although these sort of scams are some of the worst as the delay often means that there is not any issue until after the warrantee from ebay is over

additional information: when I go to the activation page and trying to change product key with the button it does nothing.

Looks like the Software Licensing files are borked. If it's due to permissions corruption then even an in-place install/repair won't help - given there is a possiblity of an exploit on that system, it may be better to do a clean install and hope it has a digital licence - but as suggested first call eBay as Volume licences are not for re-sale, legally.
