    Uninstall Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Service Pack Chinese Dialog Box


    When I try to run Windows Update it fails on "Security Update for Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package (KB2538243)."

    One of the fixes after search was to uninstall it and then run update again.

    When I click on it in Uninstall Programs I get a Windows Installer chinese dialog box.

    Running malwarebytes now . But any help would be appreciated

    I am Chinese. I found the following thread, where the user had a similar problem and had to use Your Uninstaller Pro to uninstall it.
