CU - Update Installation - Clarification please

I finally got around to installing update KB4013214 - Privacy settings for CU.

I got the notification box at restart asking: "Let's start by reviewing your privacy settings"
If you review/change the settings the next step is to Accept.
I backed out and chose "Remind Me Later"

I now have a general notification that says: "Before installing Windows 10 Creator's Update, you will need to review your privacy settings".

If you hit ACCEPT in that box, is that like pulling the trigger and actually starting the upgrade update process?
I don't want to find that out the hard way. No new disk image yet.

I jumped the queue and manually upgraded to Creators, so never got to see KB4013214 in action. Other who have reported that...

Once you complete the privacy settings the third page states "Windows will handle the update from here."...

So, do you think that ("Windows will handle the update from here") means that the upgrade process starts right then?
Of course it seems so, but I won't know for sure until I push the button.

    Also Bree..

When you did the manual upgrade to CU, was it a clean install or an in-place, upgrade install?

How'd that go? How much of a change in Windows settings did you experience?

Like letting windows update run its course, there's a review of privacy/security settings before the upgrade proceeds. But that's more to make you aware of what your current settings are and explain what they do rather than changing anything. As I recall, about the only significant change was that fast start up was turned back on (I prefer it turned off).

I was waiting for the CU to come to me as the WU update, on update Tuesday (5-8 it came in WU) the Privacy setting KB was installed. Today when I turned on the laptop the notification box you saw popped up, clicking ACCEPT does not start the download, takes you to a settings screen, there are 5 or 6 items on the privacy settings that are set to how you have them set presently. You change or accept those and click ok, submit, whatever the button says, I don't remember. You get another pop up saying it will wait, and notify you first giving you a chance to backup your files. I don't remember what I clicked on that box to close it, maybe ok, or another accept. Since I was ready to update I did a backup/image, then I checked WU and the Features update to CU 1703 was available. I allowed it to download and the update/upgrade installed with no problems noticed.
