I still cant install this update. I have never seen windows ask for a disc to install updates. Whats up? It also seems like windows has installed this update previously?

What's that screen look like where it's asking for the disc? Almost like the driver update in device manager after you click "have disk". Similar. I've never seen it for KBs.....

Is this a .cab file you're trying to install?

Its not. I basically just click on windows update and then search for updates, and it asks me for a cd.

I'm sorry, but you're losing me on this one. Clicking this asks for a CD?

I have no idea why it would do that. I've never seen it do that on any version of Win 10. Sorry.

Well, i just ran the windows update troubleshooting tool, and it says that windows update database might be corrupted, but it didnt offer any solutions to fix it.

So, i have tried all the steps on microsofts website, but they didnt solve the problem.

I should probably also mention, that system file checker found some corrupted files that it was able to repair succesfully, but i still get asked for a cd everytime i try to install this update.

Also, to make it even more weird, it seems like ccleaner says that this update is already installed on my computer, but i still get asked for a cd, even if i try to uninstall it.
