MS related updates vs nornal Windows Updates?

The option to receive other MS related updates box is NOT checked by default.
So is it OK to leave this option Unchecked and rely only on the normal Windows Updates itself?
By ticking that box, will I receive Security patches and Updates for MS Office products?
    Thanks

With that box unchecked you will still get all security related updates. You just won't get feature updates for anything. If you're happy with all your software, and not looking for newer versions, then you can leave it as is, and still be secure.

Yes @win10freak, '...other Microsoft products...' does mean things like MS Office (only if you have Office installed, of course). I get security updated for Office when I have that ticked, I don't get them when it's unticked. You'll still get all the Windows updates either way (including the Creators Update, when your turn comes round).
