    April 3rd update 1607

The update took about 20 minutes to install. Then I ran a check for more updates but it lasted about 20 minutes so I rebooted.
History shows no updates for April 3rd.
I ran the troubleshooter + when I declined 'pay' for it, it said here were issues with my PC When I ran it again and agreed to pay, it fixed all issues.
Since the update installed the first time, my updater and all seem to work fine.
Where is the notification in history that there was a update for April 3rd?

You don't have to pay for anything included with Windows 10. What exactly was it you ran?

    What does winver say?

    Ver. 1607 build 14393.969
I did not think I had to pay and it may have referred to those with dial up and paying for time; I don't know . It is not relevant.
I ran the windows updater update and security>check for updates. I was just curious and all this occurred. Usually it is handled automatically.
It still shows no update on this date after all; curious. I had a batch of them on the 2nd. Well Windows update is fixed according to the trouble shooter but I hand no issues before anyway. It seems as though a glitch occurred - I see mention of it on Google for 4-3-17.
    Thank you

14393.969 is the latest stable build. You can look at update history to see what was last installed.

I just checked my system and winver gave me 14393.970, I do not use the insider builds so there must have been a newer update...

But then again at my age who knows what I could have done yesterday, I don't, thats for sure......LOL

I know what you mean. It is odd it went through the whole update process and there is nothing under 4-3-17.

If I remember correctly, there was an optional update that didn't come down WU. I never install those.
