Windows 10 Update March 31 2017

My windows update is stuck on the definition update itself, but it is chugging along. It has been stuck at 92% for 15 minutes or so, but that is up from 76%.

Not working for me. Tried 4 times!!!

A lot of posts since last visit. Just a few points.

1. Thanks for reg fixes etc, but personally I don't think we can fix it (only temporarily) This is at MS end. I won't try any more fixes.

2. CCleaner I also for the first time checked the clean Defender box. Worked, but didn't solve anything.

3. MS have finally acknowledge this. It's amazing practically every post in this whole thread, when put together show the same issues, pretty much, for everyone.

Finally, not sure about this, but folks who have installed creators seem to have more errors with WU beyond the Defender thing. Is this correct? (Obviously I haven't installed that). Curious if it makes it worse?

I'm going on a two week vacation tomorrow so no posts and miss Creators roll out. I can only imagine the problems I'll find re: that. Glad for the absence. I never bring any lappy with me for pleasure.

Problem automatically solved this morning (Italy) with Windows Defender version 1.239.823.0. Now the updater works correctly.

I have just completed the above update .. no issues seen as yet

Last night I was able to run Defender and actually make a Definitions update. This morning there was a Definitions update waiting for me entered windows update and IT WORKED !!!!!
