I'm still getting the same message as you, Tomcat! For now, I have downloaded current update manually and installed it OK.

Darn. In Japan 1:19AM (GMT + 9hrs and daylight saving). Still the same. We should get it first as we are in the future, comparetivley, in a sense!

Still not working right here on the east coast of the USA either.

Just got it in NC all is well.

Germany here, thank god I am not the only one with this problem. Cannot update with Windows Update or in Windows Defender. Was about to do a clean install, gonna wait now.

You're right. Thought it was fixed...but no. Still won't update Defender from Windows Update.

Update Defender from the program itself, then try Windows Update. You should get an UP TO DATE message then.

I think Windows Update would install updates for Windows (if there were any), but not for Defender at the moment.

Hope MS finds the fix...

If try to update in Windows Defender I get the same error now. It worked earlier.
