What's with Servicing Stack update replaces 3211320 ?

    What's with Servicing Stack update replaces 3211320 ?


    I ran my updates and everything went fine and Windows update said "Your device is up to date".
    Then a microsoft window opened up in Edge and said Servicing Stack Update for W10 Version 1607.
    I have 1607, build 14393.953.

    It says this update replaces the previously released update 3211320. I checked and I do have 3211320 installed, but why didn't this just show up in Windows Update if it's an important update of some sort?

    It does have a link to Windows Update, and says Article ID 4013418.
    I guess I've been running W7 for too long, I don't recall ever seeing one like this before.

    I finally found an explanation back in the "W10 News" section, so I downloaded the update with no problems.
