    Thanks for the logs
Its telling me its trying to mount 10Pro, and that theres an activation failure.

Have a look at this MS article.

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...tivate-windows

Suspect a clean install will still have the same error

That doesn't surprise me seeing she has W10 Home installed....see post #29
If she clean installs W10 Home ISO all will go well.

    Your correct,
She must have picked the wrong ISO on a clean install.
    Thats WHY logs are handy.
Seen enough of them on Seven.

Where do you see that it is showing PRO? I am 99.5% sure I never downloaded PRO But.... I checked my machine and it is showing as Windows 10 core edition - in settings it shows Windows Home.

DISM log is showing as running a Pro repair.
Im assuming its trying that because of your product key.
    run this tool
    https://github.com/Superfly-Inc/Show...howKeyPlus.zip

It will tell you whats on your system
DO NOT POST YOUR PRODUCT KEY

then read this sticky for an explanation

Anyhow, after not installing KB3211320 only downloaded KB3119986 and doing a reset, the system fixed the error (FOR NOW) it is no longer showing a pending service and I have 2 services listed instead of one in the registry.

    @kaltland

Glad you're fixed...as you say "for now" .

Odd, it seemed to go full circle back to this, a possible botched MS update... Registry Error - Windows Update - Error Code 0x80040154

Make a good image backup of your system. Like Mike suggested, Macrium is an excellent choice.
