Setupact.log It might be in a different folder in Win10 though?
No, Windows 10 Setup uses the same C:\$Windows.~BT folder. You may need to turn on 'show hidden files' in File Explorer to see it.

@David49, if you update your system specs maybe there are known issues for your make/model that we can help with. There are a lot of different 'HP Omni 27' models.
I would love to, but I don't know where to find all that information.

I just did a factory restore of a Dell that put Version 10240 back on but after a few hours downloading of updates now have Version 1607 Build 14393.693 on it.

And Yes, Version 1607 is the Anniversary Update over Version 1511 [version number changes are usually an Upgrade with Build numbers being updates to that].

Well, that's great. I hope I can get to that result someday. My system says Windows Version 10.0 (Build 10240)

Do you have any folders starting "$Windows" on this drive or others?
As Bree says you will need to show hidden files. (See this Tutorial if you don't know how.)

Did you even try the possible solution I suggested in post #8?

I am still reading up on this possibility. My computer skill is probably intermediate. But I am finding a slight learning curve here. My first computer was an IBM PC Jr. back in the 1984. I have had several since then, and have even assembled my own from time to time. Plus I am finding being in my 70's isn't helping anything. I will try your suggestion as soon as I can get it straight in my mind.

There is no learning curve here. Download the ISO, tutorial I linked to in post #8 has clear illustrated instructions. When downloaded, double click the ISO file, Windows will add it (mount) to your system as virtual DVD drive, you will see it in This PC as any other drive. Open it, double click Setup to start upgrade.
