In the absence of more definitive info, you may be able to tell what's what by the combination of date (you know when you downloaded it, right?) and size (in any given group of downloads on the same day, the Cumulative Update is highly likely to be the biggest of the bunch).

According to the update history, it was downloaded and installed on January 12.
According to the screenshot in post #19, there was only one folder created on that day.
According to the screenshot below, that folder was only 258 MB in size. Could it be so small?

Nice pointer, Dalchina. Should have thought of that myself.
    Thanks!

Hmm, as I implied above I went for disabling WU, but yesterday evening it tried downing the very same update again, install it, and failed. History was gone, I checked... SFC ran successfully two days ago. I guess in order to disable WU completely you may have to disable the Service from starting.I may have to imply more forceful methods, or as they say, get a bigger hammer.
    :)

I think I will run the script again, check files manually and delete, and after that get the update from Catalog for an offline installation.

I have disabled auto-update simply by using metered connections, and I will be notified of available updates, which will not be downloaded automatically.
