Windows 10: How to force Windows 10 Update to do a re-scan?
How to force Windows 10 Update to do a re-scan?
I plugged in a wireless adapter into my machine to test if it turns on, and then unplugged it afterwards, and now in my Windows update I see the driver for this thing ready to install. But I do not want to install the driver as I never intended to use that wireless adapter on this machine in the first place. How can I force Windows 10 Update to do a re-scan of the system and see that I don't have this plugged in so that it doesn't need to install the driver for it?
