upon starting windows, prior to connecting to the internet, it said to click an error message to fix it, but before I could, it disappeared. the only thing I could find relating to this error, was for earlier versions of windows. however, yesterday, I think that I had not plugged in the adapter cord completely, so it went into sleep mode or something.

Yes, there is a way to get the Time/Date!
Go to the Ask me anything area and type in: PowerShell
In the results list, double-click the Windows PowerShell entry
In the blue PowerShell window that appears, copy/paste (with the mouse) the following text inside the code box:
Press: EnterGet-WmiObject -Class "win32_quickfixengineering"
The PowerShell window should provide you the results you want.
Example:
To copy these results to Notepad, click the PS icon (blue) on the top/far leftWindows PowerShell
