Windows 10 Home 64 bit on 2 pcs (desktop and laptop).

Looking into the errors on Troubleshooting packaging, deployment, and query of Windows Store apps (Windows) I got a hint on a registry key.
Method certainly succeeds in removing the error message, but does it inhibit the APP Readiness function?

As my previous post showed I did not have to make any registry changes and was getting errors. Checking my event viewer my last error was on Oct 5 and has been clear since then. I have noticed a lot of APP updates so maybe MS fixed it.

I don't think it is fixed since I had four of these errors yesterday (7 Oct). I note the above fix but might wait for MS to solve it since it doesn't seem to affect the PC.

I applied the fix a few days ago now Steve and not noted any problems whatsoever :)

As you say though, the errors don't seem to cause any problems. I just got bored of seeing four more at every bootup.

i still have the 4 errors and i have everything up to date. under task manager/services my service called appreadiness is ""running"" and in ""manual"" ... is that what is supposed to be on? i use microsoft apps such as the xbox accessories app which keeps my xbox one controller up to date for my pc gaming. i was hoping for a MS fix last tuesday but nothing came

See if a fix comes along next Tuesday. Otherwise if the errors are annoying you try the registry fix :)
