Windows 10 Pro - Windows Update Error: 0x80073712
Windows 10 Pro (version 1607, Build 14393.51) won't update. I think it may be affecting other hardware because I can't get my wireless display dongle to work - which did work before a previous windows 10 update.
I don't know if this is relevant but the wireless display dongle stats are:
- Company: Diamond
- P/N: WUSB Dongle
- M/N: WPCTVTX
- Driver: DisplayLink USB Graphics Software for Windows 8.0 M2.exe (Won't work correctly.)
The main goal is fixing Windows Update. Maybe if we can fix that, the dongle might work.
Anyways, sfc /scannow gives me
both after a regular boot and while run in safe mode.
Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation.
