Windows anniversary update: Not enough memory
ALrighty then...... I see a LOT of windows anniversary threads, sorry for not reading all 6 million of them to see if my problem was addressed. By the titles I saw it wasn't.
Anyway, I've gone through this whole download install thing about 5 times now. EACH time at the end it won't boot my computer, comeback with a blue screen and an error that says basically: You don't have enough memory.
I have OVER 800GB on the main hard drive itself empty.
I have tried updating when it said it was time. FAIL
I tried manually going to updates after the first fail. FAIL
I downloaded the file directly from Microsoft. FAIL
I ran the microsoft update fixit tool. FAIL
I get it. I need to either get a thumb drive or a disc and burn an iso but WHY? I don't have a single disc or thumbdrive with 850gb's on it, which is how much i have on my computer empty NOW and Microsoft says it isn't enough.......
So far this is really the *biggest* problem I have had with win 10 and really it's not a *problem* yet that is particularly difficult (just a PITA).
Anyway, can I do this without an ISO? and can you direct me to the thread or tutorial on HOW to do the ISO/thumbdrive thing? I really hate making duplicate threads for the same problem, but those threads were all over the place.
