Anniversary Update - Here It Comes!
Crap! I see "update to Windows 10, version 1607" is available, and will be installed on my computer tonight! Which means, tomorrow:
1. I won't be able to disable the Lock Screen. I will be forced to look at a "pretty picture" before I will be allowed to log on to my own PC.
2. Virtualbox will no longer run. I will not be able to run any of my VMs until I can get some kind of fix from Oracle.
3. I will no longer be able to disable my touchpad. Whenever I am trying to type anything, my cursor will be randomly jumping to different places on my screen.
4. I will no longer be able to access SD cards on my computer. The Card Reader will no longer work.
5. My camera will no longer function.
6. I will no longer be able to have NumLock on by default when Windows starts.
Who knows what other problems I'll discover in the morning. And I have no way to prevent this from happening. Microsoft will force this on my machine, then will do absolutely nothing to help me solve any of these problems. To me, this just doesn't seem right. This is not the way a large, respected American business would treat it's customers.
Is there any advice you can give me?
