Windows 10 Anniversary Update stuck at Windows logo

I find it always better to clean install major upgrades like the AU as it removes a lot of issues and Win 10 kind of demands your attention most of the time and Linux which I use more often these days seems more set and forget

Using Windows has been great for me. I don't need to give it much attention. Been using it since many years now.

It's just that only this time with the AU, I ran across problems with any update.

Which version of Linux are you using?

I would like to use Linux, but there are several factors which won't make me use Linux as a primary OS. Although I do like Linux, and would like to use it.

I'm using Mint 18 which works great and no issues with update or whatever hardware and kind of makes one think that short of having to use Windows for certain things one can mostly use Linux

Ah okay. Yes, Linux Mint is a great distro.
