After that update and my PC rebooted I lost the IE 11 icon on my Tackbar. So I put it back and now am having strange problems with IE 11 Toolbar and Norton's Search and Toolbar. I think MS did it to me. Anyone have a clue?

You could try running SFC /Scannow in your Command prompt Admin, then see if it finds problems and repairs them. Always reboot after running the command.

2nd option would be to use Nortons uninstall app, that you get from them. reboot, then reinstall Nortons.
These are just ideas, as I have Nortons and have no problems with IE11 or Nortons.

Thanks oldmike, I did everything I know to do, including un-installing and reinstalling Norton's. I for got run SFC /Scannow, so will do that; but it gets real tiring, The problem is I just went away from my PC for a few hours and when I returned the problem was there. When stuff like that happens I get suspicious and of course it takes time to run all the sans and all just to see no problems. That is what really gets old, when a problem appears that is no problem to scans. Oh well, they have us by the proverbial nuts.

If it makes you feel any better MS is going to be coming out with more "fixes" for some of the problems caused by the recent Anniversary Update.

It seems to me they could have "fixed" problems before boring us to death with useless updates that don't not work. That update was a sneaky one where I did not notice it.

You could download others browsers, just to give you more choices, incase you need one. I have Chrome and Firefox both installed. I now find myself using FF a lot more than the other ones.
I also am running Windows 10 Pro with all the latest updates, but don't have that many problems.

Well, sticking my forefinger down my throat I am back on Chrome. I like ForeFox too, but the looks he same so will use Chrome. M$ must have added irritating code in IE 11 because it has been gong down hill fro months. Chrome works fast and well, no speaker popping and cracking, not more stall outs, lock-ups and the other crap with IE. I just hate Google.

Good, glad you found a temporary fix. You can turn off the google search in chrome, if that is whats bothering you. I use both Bing and Google. Chrome and FF are both way better than IE11 :)
