    KB3176934 fails to install

A few minutes ago, Windows downloaded and installed some updates. All went fine, except for KB3176934 (one of updates named 1607).
I tried various times. It downloads the update, install it, but after the restart it figures like "failed"

Done. It says that a problem has been resolved, but installation of that update, still fails.

I'm having that same problem as well. I've tried update troubleshoot as well and didn't make any difference.

On Microsoft Answers forum, a guy replied to me, and the solution seem to work fine.
Read here. The solutions is this (just the part 6. Do not read part 1-2-3-4-5 above).
It's simple. You just have to download MediaCreationTool from MS site and run it. Just that. But it can takes a long time. It took about 45 mins for me.

Was having no luck installing this update either. Kept freezing at various percentages.

I followed the above link to Msoft and the first thing that hit me was the advice to log in as admin!

Never ever log in as admin. The god that's Mark Russinovich advised always use limited user account (or maybe it was my gran). Never needed to except for occasional stubborn app install. Never needed it for windows updates anyhow. Just run-as admin when prompted.

Logged into admin account and just ran update. KB3176934 zipped thru like a hamster on a promise and pc restarted like a breeze. No need for all that iso downloading or 45 minutes watching the media creation tool malarky again.

Feeling bruised, stupid and happy. Might help somebody equally lucky...
