    Feature update to Windows 10 Education, version 1607, Error 0x8000ffff


    Feature update just became available today for us. Out of 4 laptops its failed on 4. W10 1507 education has been running for a few weeks. Updates to 1507 were working fine.
    Installation Failure: Windows failed to install the following update with error 0x8000FFFF: Feature update to Windows 10 Education, version 1607, en-us.

    Download the 1607 Education ISO and try doing the upgrade manually. Mount the ISO and run setup.exe.

    That was the next thing I tried. Works fine. Just don't have time before school starts to do 129 in place upgrades.

    Ok, I had one PC do it all on its own VIA Windows update. On another I did it manually. I only have 4 PC's to worry about. I Googled that error but it get anything that's was relevant, as far as I could tell anyway. I'm not an IT guy so I have limited experience.
