I also keep getting the following message (below) from the Action Center repeatedly and over and over again.

I've manually upgraded 8 machines so far, none received the update via WU, always reported "Up to date".

Supposedly the AU is rolling out in waves. This machine checked updates last night, one of my others just about an hour ago and still nothing. I'm in no hurry but do wonder when it will show up.

Nothing here either, and I have neither the time nor the internet connection to deal with it at the moment, so I'm fine as is. :)

When do I start getting worried that I haven't received the AU on any of my computers? Got the Patch Tuesday updates so WU is working.

I would say when Microsoft releases the next major build upgrade, probably sometime in 2017. They have done builds 10240, 10586, now 14393. So when they get ready to do the next upgrade past 14393, I would be worried if I didn't have 14393.

I was thinking more in terms of days or a few weeks, not next year. They say they are releasing AU in waves but I really think I should have seen it by now.

Could be something has changed with the AU, I've been successful on two laptops opening the iso, and double clicking on setup. My desktop fails at first reboot doing that, one of the things I hadn't tried yet was getting it through WU.

The quote below is how I did the first one through WU, just tried it today and clicking on "Learn more" does nothing. That's interesting, wonder what has changed, it was taking you to an MS page with a button to "Get the Anniversary Update Now" That's the link in the quote, I just tried it and it still works.

Nothing for me through WU, IMO they shouldn't be pushing anything out just yet, there are too many small issues and for some users there are very large issues.

I went to Settings > Update and security > Learn more, that brings up a browser window from MS https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...setting_client with a button to "Get the Anniversary Update Now"

I tried updating 2, 1 in VmWare and 1 in a dual boot with 7, all I got was errors so I did a clean install on both.

It's up to you. You can keep wringing your hands and checking Windows Update everyday, or you can just download it and manually click on setup.exe and be done already.
