Same topic here.. no solution yet

Cannot set option to include Office updates in Windows Updates - Windows 10 Forums

    http://www.askvg.com/fixing-windows-10-automatic-updates-install-problem/

Detail of registry and group policy..
See method 3 for troubleshooter for disabling/enabling specific updates

See 5/6/7 for references to 'Some settings are managed..' reflecting group policy changes.

However this does not specifically solving issues with 'Other Microsoft products' as far as I can see.

Exactly. I have WUShow/Hide installed so can hide updates I don't want before running WU but it wont find some other updates anyway with that option unchecked.

Installed Microsoft products on one's PC is the conventional reading of that.

That's what I'd expect. However MS's policy of ever closer union (like the EU) between its products might be changing that for all I know. I don't use Xbox.

use the troubleshoot function to maybe fix it? it's not greyed out with me.
    Eureka!
Control Panel > Troubleshooting use the WU troubleshooter (click Advanced and select "Run as Administrator")...all fixed. Thanks ;-)

Great thinking. I just asked someone else to do that in another context, but it 'shut down his PC'. Oops. Something is definitely wrong there.
