Error code 0x80070070 when trying to update to Anniversary edition

I am trying to update to Anniversary edition of Windows 10 on 32GB ASUS Tablet. The update to 1511 went just fine. Now I am getting error when trying to upgrade to 1607 using Windows10Upgrade.28084. It checks compatibility and CPU, Memory and disc capacity all show good. Then get the page which shows error code 0x80070070 and states not enough space to install and suggests disc cleanup. Did that and have 18.0GB free space. But it will not let me download and install the upgrade. I do not have any apps running which I can remove. Surely 18GB is enough space. Please respond with a fix for me. Tablet is running 32bit OS

I don't know if 18 GB is enough space but I have some other advice for you. I don't know if this will completely solve your problem but the Windows10upgrade28084.exe is giving everyone problems. Try downloading the ISO to your desktop and then move it to a USB thumb drive. Uninstall any 3rd part AV and after rebooting do an in place upgrade. That worked for me. Always back up you data or better yet make a full back up of the entire drive if possible. You can search the other forum posts for where to download the ISO and doing an in place upgrade. Don't do a clean install unless you want to reinstall all your app and data.

Solved problem with not enough space for installation.

Found out that Windows10Upgrade.28084 was the problem. I went to
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/soft...oad/windows10/ and used "Update Now". The newest version of Windows 10 compatible with my tablet is now installed and working fine. It took awhile but worked out great. Hope this helps someone who might have the same problem.
