Windows.old folder appears after first Windows 10 update
I bought a netbook earlier in the week and it came with Windows 10 pre installed. Everything was fine but during the first round of updates (one of which was named 'Windows Home' something or other) it restarted my PC and looked to be clean installing Windows 10, as if updating from Windows 7 or 8. It took way, way longer than a normal update and I've seen this done on my PC and it looks like this: http://tualatinweb.com/new/wp-conten...ng-windows.jpg
And now I have a windows.old folder as if a new operating system is now running and I now have way less space on my 32GB drive. Not only this, but there is now no visible record of any of the other updates installed previous to the 'Windows Home', except for a few 'updates' I am able to remove that were installed before the laptop was even built. It has me worried that my system has somehow been compromised. Now I can't even access the Update section of settings.
This can't be normal, can it?
