Windows 10 Update KB 3172985 Issue

Last week I downloaded and tried to install Windows 10 Version 1511 for x64-based Systems (KB3172985). After downloading this update I restarted my system. This is when my problem began. The restart takes my system to a Blue Screen where it says the following:

    system_thread_exception_not_handled (amustor.sys)

My system attempts, but is unable, to make repairs. I can then Restore my system to a time prior to downloading (KB 3172985). After the restore is complete my system boots into Windows without any problems. I run sfc /scannow and no file integrity issues are noted KB 3172985 automatically downloads again and when I try to restart the system I get the same error message and have to Restore my system once again.

The following are a couple of questions I have regarding this issue:

    1. If I DISABLE the SD device ( I am using the most current driver) that uses amustor.sys will it resolve the problem?
    2. If I UNINSTALL the SD device that uses amustor.sys will it resolve the problem?

Any other suggestions/advice to address this issue is appreciated. BTW, what makes this so frustrating is that Windows 10 does not allow a user to hide and disable a problem update.

amustor.sys has been known to cause BSOD, I would therefore uninstall the device and try again.
