Update will not load and is causing problems

My Windows 10 computer has been running 10 for over a year now. Updates have always worked.
This week a "large" update has tried to load every time I'm on line. This bogs down the computer and is causing problems on some web sites. I keep getting the same error " We couldn't complete the updates.Undoing changes.Don't turn off your computer". This alone is stopping all actions and takes a long time to re-boot.
I have downloaded "Windows Update Troubleshooter" several times and it says it fixed a problem.
It has not. The updates will not load and the cycle continues.
I'm running PC Matic and the anti-virus does not seem to be the problem as I have two other computers that are incidental in their config and they are working normally.
    What to do?

    Hello Rob, :)

If you like, you could disable automatic updates to prevent it from automatically installing so you can do it manually when able. If you have Windows 10 Home, then you may need to use OPTION FOUR to disable automatic updates.

Afterwards, you can completely reset Windows Update to clear the current issue if still needed.
