    when i try activate it gives me error code 0x80041023


    Hi,
    I have been trying to activate my windows 10, i have a product key and when i try activate it gives me error code 0x80041023.
    Anyone getting this error code. I need some help.

    Windows 10 Upgrade


    Thanks navyLCDR but mine was not an upgrade, i bought my laptop and the Windows 10 was installed, i have no idea what OS was inbuilt.

    I would start by running showkey plus from this forum. Click on the product keys and they will blank out so you can post the results here.

    Then open a command prompt (admin) and run:
    slmgr /dlv

    You can also post those results here, there is no uniquely identifying information in the results. Then we might be able to help more.

    Sounds like permissions corruption from the error code. Try running sfc / scannow from cmd prompt.
    That probably won't fix the cause but will validate the reason for the error.
