The last ISO that I downloaded was version 1511, build 10586.104. That will upgrade your build 10240 to the 10586 build series. From there it is a much smaller cumulative update to the latest minor build in the 10586 series.

It's interesting how Microsoft delivers the downloads, about an hour ago I used the MCT to download for another computer and created the USB, got this:
Attachment 82331
Microsoft does not update the setup.exe file for every minor build they release. The setup.exe file may be build 10586.0, but there is no reason it cannot install build 10586.104 or later.
Want to see something really interesting - look at the build number of the media creation tool.exe file itself that you ran to download the ISO file.
Kyhi, the build number of the MCT exe file will not always match the build number of the ISO file that it will download or the build number of the Windows 10 that gets installed. For example, install the Windows10 from the ISO file downloaded with the build number 10586.117 to a VM or computer with no internet connection and you will find that it is not build 10586.117 of Windows 10 that is installed.
Is it normal when updating updates for Win10 through MCT or it is downloading the whole WIn 10 ISO .........
It's downloading the ISO.
See step 4 part E) here: Windows 10 - Upgrade Installation - Windows 10 Forums
I found the same thing, I went through the above ways to try and sort out what build it was in the past. When I installed it I found out it was an even higher more current build than the MCT version indicated. I had updates turned off and my internet connection unplugged during that test. The only way to find out for sure is to download and install it. MSDN ISO's were just updated for April, MCT likely was too. Windows update will make it the current build anyway when you run it.
