    Windows 10 update keep failing

I have a Lenovo 32bit operating system, x64 based processor which i recently upgraded to windows 10 pro. Windows update keeps failing on it after the upgrade. I get the below error message whenever it tries to install windows update:

There were problems installing some updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help:
    • Cumulative Update for Windows 10 (KB3147461) - Error 0x800706b5
    • Definition Update for Microsoft Office 2010 (KB3114999) 32-Bit Edition - Error 0x80070643
    • Intel Corporation driver update for Intel(R) Q35 Express Chipset Family (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM 1.0) - Error 0x80070103
    • Lenovo - Pointing Drawing - Lenovo Optical Mouse (HID) - Error 0x80070103
    • Security Update for Adobe Flash Player for Windows 10 (KB3154132) - Error 0x800706b5

    • Update for Windows 10 (KB3141032) - Error 0x800706b5

After running the sfc scan, this is what it gives me:

    Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.10240]
    (c) 2015 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.

    C:\WINDOWS\system32>sfc /scannow

Beginning system scan. This process will take some time.

Beginning verification phase of system scan.
    Verification 100% complete.

Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some
of them. Details are included in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For
example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. Note that logging is currently not
    supported in offline servicing scenarios.

Use this Tech Bench link to download YOUR version of Windows 10. Please follow the instructions to the letter.
    http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/softw...load/techbench

    * Make sure you download the same Windows 10 Edition, Language and Bit-version as your computer is now running.

Once you have the iso downloaded, right click at the ISO > click Mount > leave it there.
Then open the elevated command prompt and copy and paste this................

    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:wim:H:\sources\install.wim:1 /limitaccess

***Note : H is the drive where the iso is mounted. Change it if your driver letter is different.***

When it is completed, you should get the report that the operation is successful.
Now run the sfc /scannow again. It should be ok this time.

I have downloaded the requisite iso from techbench, mounted it and followed the instructions above, nut the problem still remains. Below is the result of from the elevated command:

    Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.10240]
    (c) 2015 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.

    C:\WINDOWS\system32>Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:wim:E:\sources\install.wim:1 /limitaccess

Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool
    Version: 10.0.10240.16384

    Image Version: 10.0.10240.16384

I overlooked that your Windows 10 is an older version 10240.
    The current version is 10586.

You already have the ISO fie downloaded using the Tech Bench link I gave you.
    Yes ?
If yes, then use this method to do an In-place upgrade.

Go to the folder where your iso file is stored > RIGHT click at it > click MOUNT > click Setup.exe.
    Installation will begin.
You are allowed to keep your files, settings and apps.
    No product key is required.
    Activation will be automatic.

After successful installation and activation to version 10586, wait for Windows Update to install the current cumulative update which will bring you up-to-date 10586.318.

I just tried the in-place upgrade now but it failed. When i double clicked on the iso setup, i got this message:

    Set.exe – Bad Image
C\WINDOWS\32\dbgcore.DLL is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support. Error status 0xc0000020

When i close the box the installation commenced but while downloading updates, it stopped and displayed:

Hi, have a look through this thread which addresses this error message. There are some specific ideas.

From what I've seen ignore Andre da Costa's suggestion, but by all means uninstall any AV.
