I was thinking I could get a clean install and correct all the problems and all then I could trying to reinstall the last backup without the OS.

Hey guys,
What do you think of replacing the HD and installing a new clean OEM version of Win 10?
where can I purchase a full version of Win 10? I got an OEM version and upon reading the fine print I decided to return it and go with a genuine version.
Thanks
From Microsoft maybe? If you've had Windows 10 on that computer before, though, why pay for it when a clean install from downloaded Windows 10 ISO (from Microsoft) will give you exactly the same thing (except that you won't be able to transfer it to another computer later) but it will be for free.
Windows 10 Home: Upgrade or Purchase - Microsoft Store
Hi,
Decided to proceed with the free install and surprisingly it worked quite well. Can't seem to get all the apps that I had downloaded from the store but that's not a major concern. I do have another question however. In control panel I found a backup utility but it's marked Win 7. Does this mean it will only work with Win 7? I want to get a complete backup and repair disc just in case. Any suggestions?
Thanks to all for putting up with me with the previous problem.
The Windows 7 backup program built into Windows 10 works with Windows 10 the same way it did with 7. However, a much more reliable and flexible program is Macrium Reflect Free.
